Prof. Dr. Pascal Marquet
Prof. Dr. Pascal Marquet is Professor of technology of education at Strasbourg University. He is vice-dean for research of the faculty of education and lifelong learning and is heading the master programme Design Education Technology. His research work covers, for more than 30, years, the use of ICT in teaching and training situations and how it changes learning conditions. He is the author of the instrumental conflict theory that explains most of the difficulties encountered by learners when ICT is supposed to facilitate knowledge acquisition or competence development.
